First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Launches Renewed Hope Initiative in Kogi, Empowers 500 Women with ₦50,000 Grants
Lokoja, Kogi State – September 12, 2025 – Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has brought the federal government’s economic empowerment drive to Kogi State with the launch of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a flagship program designed to uplift women through direct financial support for small-scale enterprises.
As part of the initiative’s roll-out in Kogi, 500 women received ₦50,000 each to boost their small businesses, improve household income, and foster grassroots economic development. The disbursement was made during a well-attended ceremony in Lokoja, where beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the much-needed financial intervention.
